Forget

You told me that I was your best friend
I thought our friendship would never end.
You said that I could count on you
I never thought you’d be untrue.

You helped me get through hard times in my life
Now my heart fells like it was cut with a knife.
I told you things that no on else knew
You helped me to believe that I could pull through.

Now you are gone, I miss hearing your voice
But after what happened I had no choice.
What you did to me is so hard to bear
Though sometimes it’s hard for me without you there.

When I think about all of the times that we had
I can’t help but feel the slightest bit sad
Whenever I see you with one of your friends
I begin to wish that we could just make amends.

Everything that happened was probably right
And I do not believe that we should continue to fight.
Let’s just forget that we were ever friends
I think it’s for the best if this all just ends.
